Dear students and applicants,

 

SECURITY RULES FOR BUEPT/TWE HAVE BEEN UPDATED. PLEASE READ THE RULES BELOW CAREFULLY.

 

NEW SAFETY RULES

 

In order to ensure the safety of Boğaziçi University English Proficiency Test (BÜYES/BUEPT or TWE), you can ONLY bring the following items into the examination hall:

 

  • 2 official photo IDs (T.R. ID card, Passport, Boğaziçi University Student Card, T.R. Driver’s Licence – Students who registered this year through ÖSYM can use their T.R. ID card)
  • A city bus card (without the case)
  • Coins or bills
  • Water in a transparent bottle
  • Keys (without keychains)

 

Students CANNOT enter the exam hall with the following items:

  • Pen, pencil or any kind of stationery (A pen will be provided to each student by proctors)
  • Mobile phones or any type of communication tools
  • Computers or pocket computers
  • Any kind of watches
  • Any type of bags, purses or wallets

 

Students who are detected with any of the following items will be removed from the exam hall and their exams will be canceled. Please be aware that bringing these items may also result in disciplinary charges. By registering for the exam, you accept these rules mentioned above.

 

 

 

Please be reminded that the exam lists are presented in an Excel file below and consist of seven excel sheets. Each sheet is named according to the components of the BUEPT that students will be taking (such as LWE, or LW), so please check for your name accordingly.

 

        BÜYES/BUEPT EXAM LOCATIONS and TIMES

 

Below please find the explanations for the abbreviations used on the exam lists for exam locations. Please note that it is very important that examinees be at their exam locations at the times specified below with two official photo IDs at the ready.

 

Examinees who registered for the exam using their T.C. Citizen Number or their Passport number must use the last 5 digits of these numbers to find their exam location.

 

Exam lists will be posted at the entrance of each building where the exams will be given. When you enter the exam hall, please carefully check your seat number and accordingly line up to have your IDs checked by an exam official.

 

For example, the following examinee’s Seat Number is 1 and he will be taking the exam in the North Campus New Hall in Room 101
