Emel Hakyemez Tozlu is an English instructor at Boğaziçi University, where she has been teaching since 2017. She earned both her B.A. and M.A. degrees in Foreign Language Education from Boğaziçi University. Prior to her current position, she worked at several universities as an English instructor and level coordinator. At Boğaziçi University, she has taught English at various proficiency levels within the English Preparatory Division. She currently works as the Coordinator of the Curriculum and Material Development Unit. Her academic and professional interests include curriculum design, materials development, and language assessment.
