Believes that a good language lesson can be much more than a lesson when students gain new perspectives, discover their abilities and interests and have an inspiring learning experience. With this outlook on teaching, emphasizes the importance of creating a positive learning environment where the teacher is able to motivate the students to be active. To this end, adopts interactive teaching techniques and integrates technology in the classroom to provide students with authentic language. Integrated extensive reading through mreader.org into the yearly programme of a student body of 600.
Currently, holds a teaching position at the prep school of Bogazici University, Istanbul, Turkey where she also worked as a curriculum designer between 2012-2016. Between Nov., 2008 and April 2011, worked at Ankara University, TOMER, as an instructor of English. Teaches academic and general English at all levels to young adults and adults.
