Abbreviated Curriculum Vitae:
After completing my graduate studies at Boğaziçi university, I started translating different genre of texts alongside teaching. I have been teaching for the past 24 years and I also write poetry as a hobby. After 2018 I decided to peruse my poetry in academic research and to that end I started writing articles on art based research practices, focusing mainly on a/r/tography and poetic inquiry as my research tools. I am currently writing a biographical novel and preparing my own poetry book, as well as writing academic papers based on my research and practices in the field of poetic inquiry. I am intrigued by the intersections between anthropology and poetry and ethnic poetry as research data and am currently exploring the possibilities in that field.
Research Interests:
Art based research practices, A/R/Tography, Poetic Inquiry, Anthropology, Ethnic Poetry, Poetry as an introspective tool.
